A 15-year-old boy was killed after getting struck by a passing vehicle while he was on a run near Rosebud-Lott High School on early Monday morning, August 9.
The young boy was hit on FM 431 near CR 343 in the unincorporated Travis community south of the high school. The teenage boy was reportedly practicing with the school’s cross-country team when an eastbound GMC Acadia suddenly hit him.
The teenage boy sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed. Information about the accident is limited at the moment.
